The Turkish Airlines African Destinations in 2012. The Turkish Airlines has been increasingly expanding its African presence and destinations in congruence with Turkish government's diplomatic offensive on the continent that will see Turkey opening embassies in 95% of African nations, restoring old ties and influence in North African countries, particularly in Libya. This year, Turkish Airlines will launch flights to the Libyan city of Misurata and Kigali in Rwanda. The Turkish Airlines African destinations in 2012 will be as follows:
